Long Beach State has concluded the first day of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the University of Oregon's Historic Hayward Field. The Beach had six of its seven national qualifiers compete on Wednesday.

The Long Beach State men's track & field team continues its postseason run this week as it sends seven athletes to Track Town USA (Eugene, Ore.) for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, June 10-13.

The Long Beach State men came in at No. 15 in the final 2015 Track & Field News Dual Meet Rankings. The Beach went 8-3 during regular-season dual-meet competition with two of those losses coming to second-ranked Cal and No. 7 UCLA.

The Long Beach State track & field team had two more individuals, plus the men's 4x400 relay squad, punch their tickets to the NCAA Championships on Saturday, the third and final day of the West Prelims, at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Seniors Cameron Glasgow and Chris Low both punched their tickets to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships as they finished among the top-12 in their respective quarterfinal events at the West Preliminaries Friday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
