The Long Beach State men's and women's cross country teams closed out the 2016 season on Saturday morning at the NCAA West Regional at Haggin Oaks Golf Club. Senior Pauline Mandel (pictured) was the top runner for the 49ers in the women's 6K race, finishing in 186th with a time of 22:47.9. Junior George Martinez was the top runner for the LBSU men's team, finishing in 94th place in the 10,000-meter race with a time of 31:46.1.
